Seaworks in Williamstown was transformed into a wine and chocolate lovers paradise on Saturday 30th of April for the annual Wine and Chocolate Festival.
Over 1500 people attended the event, all eager to try the delicious food and wine on offer. Guests were able to sample high quality locally made products, along with wines from some of Victoria’s upcoming wine producers.
The event featured master classes and food pairing stations, showing guests the best way to pair chocolate with wine, whiskey, coffee and wine. The festival also featured a selection of food trucks, live music and kids entertainment.
Our main aim was to get people to attend the festival, so we needed to concentrate on getting metro media coverage in the weeks leading up to the festival. We were able to receive coverage in the local newspapers, including a front page story in the Maribyrnong & Hobsons Bay Star Weekly, the Herald Sun, The Urban List, Broadsheet, GRAM magazine and plenty of other top-tier media.
We designed bill posters that were placed at several locations around Melbourne, and an invitation for stall holder of the festival to send to their clients. We also helped our client with social media by suggesting posts for their Facebook page.
The event was a huge success.
